Knowing September in Southern California is an extension of summer, Diane Baquedano and Joseph Massaro planned an outdoor ceremony at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. They met with Rev Dr Gary Barmore of Great Officiants to plan every detail of a beautiful ceremony. They and their entourage were dressed “to the nines.” But the weather turned dark and stormy on their big day, September 28, and disappointment loomed large. As family and friends took their seats in the outdoor plaza the moist air was about to turn to sprinkles. Nevertheless, the processional proceeded, the full ceremony was completed and the guests who were seated clapped and cheered the happy couple, who “skipped between the raindrops” to the indoor pavilion for a sensational wedding reception.
