Sometimes Officiants are needed to play the role of friend, advisor, and, in a pinch, even play the part of wedding coordinator when things don’t go quite as a couple hopes. We’re always happy to lend a helping hand any way we can. For Roger’s wedding at the Whalers Walk in San Pedro a new role had to be taken on.
All was great except for one thing: the groom was incredibly nervous. Roger calmed him on more than one occasion before the ceremony started. Finally Roger reminded him that he had nothing to worry about, because he was standing with the woman he loved and, bonus, he had Roger there as his “wingman”. Well, evidently that did the trick because after that the wedding went off without a hitch and the groom didn’t pass out. All was good!
Roger has now requested that his business cards read: Roger, Great Officiant/Great Wingman.
Here’s the nice note from the couple thanking Roger:
Roger,
We cant thank you enough for officiating our ceremony! Everyone present couldn’t stop commenting on how touching and fun the ceremony was. And thank you for being my wingman through it all!
Highest praises to you and the work you do. We will spread the good word far and wide!
Thanks again,
Mike and Angela
