The ceremony at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge on May 21 could not have taking place in a more idyllic setting. This was no traditional wedding as the bride Patricia Renick, resplendent in sparkling lavender, and groom Keith Hasday, looking somehow both formal and casual, entered in front of their 160 guests with no bridesmaids or groomsmen. No one gave away the pride, as the emphasis was all about joining families. This ceremony was a simple fun celebration of their love in front of their 7 children, two of whom came up and gave very heartfelt readings, and heartily involving their family and friends, including about 80 who had flown out from New York. Everyone was treated to a glass of delicious wine prior to the ceremony and even better champagne after the ceremony, for a receiving line in the gardens accompanied buy music provided buy a dual flown in from Mexico for the occasion.
