I may only do Hawaiian / beach weddings from now on. The Aloha Spirit was strong at the David Baker golf course in Fountain Valley. Guests cheered and sounded off loudly , and a conch shell was sounded to the four directions as the groom, Gene Ahlo, waited anxiously for his bride, DeEtte Lucero. She arrived, radiant in white, and they exchanged Leis with parents. I sprinkled Hawaiian words and phrases through the ceremony to honor the heritage of both families, including part of the vows. All were thrilled at the kiss and final Alooooooo-ha!
