Terence confided that initially his fiancé, Djedje, had some concerns when scheduling an appointment in early November with Great Officiants to have their Marriage solemnized at the Cute Little Wedding Chapel on Atlantic Avenue. He was concerned that they might be confronted by someone with attitudes to same-sex marriage similar to those held by a certain Kentucky county clerk. Both grooms, however, were relieved upon meeting A. Mauricio Lubong who, without hesitation, cheerfully accepted their License and afterwards counted it a personal pleasure to officiate their Wedding.
A few days after their ceremony, the newlyweds submitted an online review that started with, “A.Mauricio was a wonderful official. He was funny and made us feel at ease on this stressful day;” and concluded with “A.Mauricio was great and I would recommend him to anyone getting married.”
