Rev. Dr. Jacob is the Co-Senior Pastor of Claremont United Church of Christ and has been an ordained minister since 2012. His favorite part of being a pastor is walking with people through the highs and lows of life including being part of their most special day as they get married. Pastor Jacob has a degree in the Comparative Study of Religion from Harvard University, a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Duke Divinity School. 

For Pastor Jacob, there is nothing better in life than being a minister. He loves preaching and has won awards for his preaching, he loves coming up with new ideas and bringing those visions to reality, and he loves challenging people to serve their world and make it a better place. He lives, eats, and breathes his life as a pastor. 

Outside of the church, Pastor Jacob is an avid reader and a passionate basketball player. He grew up with Deaf family members and is also fluent in American Sign Language. You might have also seen him on the reality show The Snake streaming on Hulu where he is featured as Pastor Jacob. He adores his wife and co-pastor, Jen, and their daughter. Jen and Jacob cherish the memories of their own wedding when they gathered friends and family and travelled to Iceland. 

Based in the Inland Empire, Pastor Jacob is happy to travel throughout Southern California.
