Today, we honor a sacred truth. Love is something that is planted, tended, and grown.

Before us is a living plant, waiting to take root. Our Couple will now come forward with earth from different places, symbolizing the unique journeys that brought them here. Different paths, different seasons, different stories, now intentionally joined as one.

As this earth is blended together into a single vessel, it becomes their shared foundation. It represents the grounding of their life together, built on trust, devotion, and the choice they make every day to walk forward side by side.

Now our Couple will water this plant together. Water is life. It nourishes what is growing and allows roots to stretch deep and strong. In this act, they promise to care for their relationship with patience and presence, to offer love freely, and to sustain one another through every season.

May this living symbol remind them that love thrives when it is nurtured. That growth comes from intention. And that what they are building together is alive, resilient, and deeply rooted.
