📅 How Do We Check if a Great Officiant Is Available?

Simply contact Great Officiants with your wedding date, ceremony time, location and the type of ceremony you're planning.

We'll help you find an available Great Officiant who fits your style, personality and wedding vision.

💍 How Do We Officially Reserve Our Wedding Date and Time?

Once you've selected your Great Officiant and confirmed availability, the next step is to officially reserve your wedding date and ceremony time.

Your date is not officially reserved until the required booking retainer has been received and your reservation is confirmed.

We receive inquiries for popular wedding dates all the time, and availability can change quickly.

Once your booking is confirmed, you can start working with your Great Officiant on the details of your ceremony.

💳 How Much Is the Booking Retainer?

For most Great Officiants Wedding Ceremony bookings, the standard booking retainer is $200.

For our beautiful Beach Wedding Setups, the booking retainer is $500.

All booking retainers are NON-REFUNDABLE and are applied toward your total wedding package price.

Your retainer officially reserves your wedding date, time and the services included in your booking.

💰 How Much Does a Great Officiant Cost?

Not every couple wants the same Wedding Ceremony, so why should everyone have to choose the same package?

Great Officiants offers several ceremony packages designed for different wedding styles, budgets and levels of personalization.

Our options include simple elopements, traditional ceremonies, personalized love story ceremonies, completely customized experiences and specialty religious or cultural ceremonies.

Your total price depends on the package you select, your Officiant, your wedding location and any additional services you request.

✨ What's Included in Our Wedding Officiant Package?

Your ceremony package includes the professional Wedding Officiant services described in the package you select.

Depending on your package, your experience may include:

• Consultation and ceremony planning
• Selection of ceremony wording and vows
• Personalization of your Wedding Ceremony
• Your love story incorporated into the ceremony
• Religious, spiritual or non-religious elements
• Special readings and meaningful traditions
• Communication with your Great Officiant
• Professional performance of your Wedding Ceremony
• Completion and return of your Marriage License after the ceremony

The amount of ceremony customization and planning time varies by package.

Our team can help explain the differences so you can choose the experience that fits your vision.

💵 When Do We Pay the Remaining Balance?

For standard Great Officiants Wedding Ceremony bookings, the remaining balance is generally paid directly to your Great Officiant before the ceremony begins.

For Beach Wedding Setups, the remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

If you're booking within 30 days of your wedding, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Your booking confirmation will outline the total cost, payments received and remaining balance.

💳 What Payment Methods Does Great Officiants Accept?

Great Officiants accepts several convenient payment methods for booking retainers, including:

• Venmo
• Zelle
• Credit cards
• PayPal

Our published pricing reflects discounted cash-equivalent rates. Credit card and PayPal payments are subject to an additional 3% processing fee.

For the remaining balance paid directly to your Officiant, please confirm the accepted payment methods with that Officiant.

When paying a retainer through Venmo or Zelle, please include your names, wedding date, selected Officiant and contact information so we can properly credit your reservation.

🚗 Are There Additional Travel Charges?

Our Great Officiants live throughout Southern California, so travel fees depend on the distance between your wedding location and your Officiant's home base.

Some local travel is included, while weddings farther away may have an additional travel charge.

We always recommend confirming the complete ceremony price, including applicable travel fees, before booking.

For destination weddings or ceremonies outside our normal service area, additional expenses such as transportation, accommodations or other travel arrangements may apply.

🔄 What if We Need to Change Our Wedding Date or Time?

We understand that wedding plans sometimes change. Venues change, schedules shift and unexpected situations happen.

If you need to change your wedding date, time or location, please contact us as soon as possible.

We'll check whether your Great Officiant is available for the new arrangements.

If your original Officiant isn't available, we can explore other available members of our Great Officiants team.

Changes are subject to availability, your booking agreement and any applicable additional charges.

❌ What Happens if We Need to Cancel Our Wedding?

We understand that sometimes plans change, and occasionally a wedding needs to be cancelled.

If that happens, please notify Great Officiants in writing as soon as possible.

All booking retainers are NON-REFUNDABLE.

For standard Wedding Officiant bookings, if you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled ceremony, any payments beyond the non-refundable retainer may be eligible for a refund, subject to your booking agreement.

If your ceremony is cancelled within 14 days of your scheduled wedding date, the FULL CEREMONY FEE IS DUE.

For Beach Wedding Setups, different cancellation terms apply, including a 30-day cancellation notice requirement. Please refer to your booking agreement for the specific terms.

⏰ Can We Book a Great Officiant at the Last Minute?

Sometimes love just can't wait!

Maybe you decided to elope. Maybe your original Officiant cancelled. Maybe your plans suddenly changed. Or maybe you just realized you forgot to book someone to marry you!

DON'T PANIC. CALL GREAT OFFICIANTS!

With our large team of experienced Wedding Officiants, we may be able to help even on short notice.

Last-minute bookings depend on Officiant availability, location and the services you need.

Because your wedding date is approaching, full payment may be required when booking.

If you also need a Marriage License, our authorized Notaries may be able to coordinate expedited issuance for eligible couples.
