Hello, and congratulations on your engagement! My name is Jimmy Koh, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a bilingual wedding officiant proficient in both English and Korean. With a deep understanding of both cultures, I am dedicated to creating a personalized and meaningful wedding ceremony that beautifully blends the traditions and customs of both languages.
Growing up in a bilingual and bicultural environment has allowed me to form strong connections with both Korean and English-speaking communities. This unique background has equipped me with the ability to seamlessly navigate between both languages, ensuring that all participants, from the couple and their families to the guests, feel included and engaged throughout the ceremony. My approach to officiating weddings is rooted in respect for cultural diversity and a commitment to creating a ceremony that is a true reflection of the couple’s love story. Whether it’s incorporating traditional Korean wedding customs or delivering heartfelt vows in English, I work closely with the couple to craft a ceremony that resonates with their values and beliefs.
As a bilingual officiant, I provide a range of services tailored to meet the specific needs of each couple. From initial consultations to script creation and rehearsal coordination, I strive to make the entire process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Additionally, I am a professional singer and can even sing your recessional song live. I am dedicated to ensuring that your wedding ceremony is a memorable and joyous celebration of love, unity, and cultural heritage. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your special day and to help create a ceremony that honors your love in both English and Korean.

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Double chocolate
Soundtrack to your life: I Swear
Favorite Disney Movie: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Favorite Event Memory: At one of my recent wedding ceremonies, I was DJing for the ceremony music, and the groom decided to surprise the bride with a flash mob. He chose the song “Crazy in Love” and danced with his groomsmen just like Beyoncé. It was a hit, with the whole crowd standing and dancing together, making it one of the best ceremony processions I’ve experienced.
