I had the pleasure of performing a wedding ceremony for a very nice couple named Howard Chu and Jennifer Ilagan this past weekend. The wedding took place at The Castaways in Burbank, on Friday evening, May 1st.
Howard and Jennifer have a very interesting storyline. This couple started dating twenty years ago……..in high school. And although these high school sweethearts did not know it at the time, marriage was inevitably in their future.
After graduating high school Howard and Jennifer went their separate ways. Both went off to college, and had very successful, although separate lives. As fate would have it however, they eventually reconnected with each other. And after twenty years of living apart……tied the knot on Friday night.
The couple had two adult children present, one of which walked Jennifer down the aisle and gave her hand in marriage to Howard. After the wedding ceremony the couple had a great reception for family and friends at The Castaways.
Howard and Jennifer also made great choices in their selection of vendors. Great Officiants provided the ceremony. Nannette Ricaforte provided the Photography and Craig from Benton Entertainment provided the D.J. services. And of course, The Castaways provided a great meal and catering service.
All and all, it was a picture perfect wedding, on a picture perfect day, with a great human interest story to boot!
