Great Officiants had the opportunity to perform the first Same Sex Wedding in Long Beach after the Ban was lifted.
The couple was Carol and Toni.
They were scheduled to come in when Judge walker overturned prop 8 a few years ago. But due to the stay I had to turn them away and refund their money. I promised that when the ban was lifted that they would be my first couple.
This news story ran the day I had to turn them down.
