Helen Wong and Howard Hsu joyously joined their lives in marriage at Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, led by Rev.Dr.Gary Barmore of Great Officiants. Following their vows, the bride and groom released two white doves — symbolizing the unity of their soaring love. Then, after being presented as a married couple to all the guests, they recessed down the aisle while twenty more doves were released — representing all the family and friends who will accompany this couple’s happy life through the years. Rev.Barmore, a college professor and inter-faith minister, was pleased to affirm both the Christian and Buddhist traditions of Helen and Howard, encouraging everyone to read the wonderful best-selling book “Living Buddha, Living Christ” by Thich Nhat Hanh.
