Woody recently had the honor of officiating the wedding ceremony of Dominique and Elvin at the historic art deco Oviatt Penthouse which opened in 1928 and has since been renovated to it’s original charm. At one time, this was the tallest building in Los Angeles. As you can see from the photos, this is no longer the case.
Woody’s ceremony included the couple’s courtship story, a Hand Blessing, as well as he Bride and Groom doing their own vows which made each other tear up, as well as Woody and the Guests. To add to this was a string quartet which included two of Elvin’s Friends from work.
The photo of Woody and our couple after the ceremony show the emotion exhaustion of the ceremony. A Guest said to Woody afterwards: “Your ceremony was like a roller coaster…….I laughed, I cried, and then I wanted to do it all over again.”
